Where we are – How to Find us
The village of San Colombano is on the plain of Settimo, between
Scandicci and Lastra a Signa.
For those coming by car we are easily reached by the autostrada
A1(Autostrada del Sole) or by the superstrada Firenze-Pisa-Livorno
(FI-PI-LI):
- If you are on the A1 highway, exit at the tollbooth Firenze Scandicci (ex Firenze Signa) and continue on the FI-PI-LI in the direction of Scandicci and exit at the first exit (Scandicci Zona Industriale) following the signs for San Colombano (about 2.5 kms).
- If you are traveling on the superstrada Firenze-Pisa-Livorno (FI-PI-LI) you may exit at Lastra a Signa (1.5 kms) or at Scandicci (2.5 kms) and follow the directions for San Colombano.
- If you are coming by train from the central station of Florence, Santa Maria Novella, exit the right side of the station, take the tramway T1 line and get off at stop "resistance" in front of the Municipality of Scandicci.
Then take the ATAF bus 26C and get off at the terminus at San Colombano, the bus stop is 100 m from the inn (journey time approximately 45 minutes).
Otherwise you can get off at the terminus of the tramway at Villa Costanza, take the ATAF bus 15 and get off at the last stop in San Colombano, the bus stop is 100 m from the inn (journey time approximately 45 minutes).
- If you are coming into the Florence Airport, take the bus “Volainbus” and get off at the central train station of Santa Maria Novella, exit the right side of the station, take the tramway T1 line and get off at stop "resistance" in front of the Municipality of Scandicci.
Then take the ATAF bus 26C and get off at the terminus at San Colombano, the bus stop is 100 m from the inn (journey time approximately 45 minutes).
